I think communities should bring back rec centers. Safe places where kids can go and interact with Kindergarten Teacher I & ll Be There For You T-Shirt each other instead of parents hovering in every aspect of their life. Clearly, this isn’t ok for very small children, but today’s kids are sadly lacking in some basic skills. Parents need to back off and let them learn some things on their own. And they do have more anxiety than I did growing up, but I think that’s partial because school they get homework at a younger age than I did and have the pressure of passing standardized tests at a younger age and more frequently.

In my humble opinion our most import job as a parent is to teach our children to Kindergarten Teacher I & ll Be There For You T-Shirt on their own, to be kind and understanding, to be independent thinkers and that while they are important they are not the center of the universe. I was raised in Northern Europe which is a safe part of the World and I am grateful for that. My parents were available to me for advice if I asked for it, but let me make my own decisions and carve my own way. So from an early age I had the tools to make it on my own. I have tried to parent my children the same way by providing guidance when needed and otherwise let them make their mistakes and hopefully learn from those mistakes. Parents worry and we should, but we must remember that we must let our children go their own way.
