Total strangers rang my doorbell and a seven year old boy and Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees drink Dunkin Donuts shirt  his dad, gave my daughter a new carved pumpkin. I will always remember the kindness. I’m sitting at my desk at work crying like someone stole my cake. My coworkers must think i’m insane but this really moved me. That good kind people do in fact still exist. Wow. Made my day Nice. In the midst of all the depressing news and inhumanity going on in this world, it’s encouraging to know that there is still great kindness in our world. Simple acts of kindness. Happy to be a paying subscriber, just to counterpoint the Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees drink Dunkin Donuts shirt whining. Also, super awesome story about people being better than we’ve come to expect as of late. Humanity seems to be creeping in from all areas lately and giving me hope. If the Washington Post doesn’t want people to read their articles without registering on their page then they shouldn’t post on social media. This is not right. I’m going to defriend them. It’s really annoying. And it’s unbecoming of a news media like the WP. Shame on you.
