Even though I am personally not a fan of Paint me green and call me a pickle because Im done dillin with you shirt (I prefer classic colors that make me happy, and gray does not), you may want to consider a lighter gray on the house and creamy white on the mouldings. The green and white is beautiful and classic, as would be a blue, all true to your area’s historical architecture. Whatever you decide, it will be beautiful, as are all your designs.

Our house was grey when we bought it. I think that was why it was on the market so Paint me green and call me a pickle because Im done dillin with you shirt . It looked dark and sad. We painted it to a creamy yellow with blue and rust trim. We got so many people in the neighborhood complementing us on the color change and how it brightened up the house. So, I would say go with the lighter colors!
